Welcome to The Blog Report

I'm so glad you stopped by and hope you find this blog an interesting read. I've been blogging since April of 2006, currently the author of six public and two private blogs. In the beginning I knew absolutely nothing about blogging. Over the years through trial and error, frustration and elation, and a few tears I've learned a lot. However, the learning process when it comes to blogging continues to evolve. Here you will find a hodge podge of my blogging experiences, useful codes and how-tos, sprinkled liberally with my opinions. Enjoy!

Find and Make Dynamic Web Widgets

Even though I use generic templates as the basis for my blogs I like to customize them with graphics and backgrounds I have made.  Making customized widgets is easy with the online resource Widgetbox.  You do have to join the site in order to be able to create and save widgets.  You can choose from basic or pro with basic being free (limited features) and pro being paid subscription (full featured).  Widgets include slide show, forms, YouTube and more plus you can search for already created widgets.  You can also develop a widget from scratch in a few different formats including The widgets you create can be saved in your widget folder for easy use later.  This is just a handy little tool for those wanting to add more customization to their blogs.
