Welcome to The Blog Report

I'm so glad you stopped by and hope you find this blog an interesting read. I've been blogging since April of 2006, currently the author of six public and two private blogs. In the beginning I knew absolutely nothing about blogging. Over the years through trial and error, frustration and elation, and a few tears I've learned a lot. However, the learning process when it comes to blogging continues to evolve. Here you will find a hodge podge of my blogging experiences, useful codes and how-tos, sprinkled liberally with my opinions. Enjoy!

Decorating Blogs For The Holidays

I started blogging in early 2006 and by the end of the year had four blogs up and running.  At that time it was a blogging trend to change the entire blog template to a holiday theme for the Christmas holiday season.  Some even changed their theme for Easter and Thanksgiving as well as special days like St. Patrick's Day.  I went with the trend creating special holiday templates.  Then a couple of years ago I stopped.  Creating and changing templates can be a considerable amount of work but the main reason I stopped massively decorating for the holidays on my blogs is the same reason I now say Happy Holidays rather than Merry Christmas - political correctness.
